Libyan Desert glass (LDG), or Great Sand Sea glass is a substance found in areas in the eastern Sahara, in the deserts of eastern Libya and western Egypt.
This stone is most famously known as the scarab in King Tut's breastplate. (See image 2.)
It is said that these glasses embody the vibration of the Golden Ray - a powerful spiritual energy - and they are recognized as extreme manifestation tools. They present as a range of translucent yellow, to a golden yellow color.
